Marketing Coordinator
Dallas, TX | Onsite | Full-Time Contract to Hire
Pay: $26.44 to $28.85 per hour
Zing is hiring an entry-level Marketing Coordinator for an exciting opportunity within the beauty and packaging industry.
This is a great opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented, and creative professional who wants hands-on exposure to marketing campaigns, trade shows, customer events, social media, product samples, merchandising, promotional materials, and sales support.
You will work closely with Marketing, Product Marketing, Creative, Sales, Operations, Procurement, and external vendors to help keep projects organized, accurate, on schedule, and customer-ready.
What You'll Do
  • Support marketing programs, campaigns, customer events, trade shows, sales meetings, and internal initiatives
  • Assist with event registration, schedules, timelines, packing lists, signage, badges, vendors, décor, shipping, and follow-up
  • Coordinate product samples for customer meetings, trade shows, campaigns, launches, and photo or video shoots
  • Label, organize, track, pack, and ship samples and marketing materials
  • Maintain showroom, booth, merchandising, promotional, and trade show inventory
  • Schedule and support social media posts across company channels
  • Organize social media assets, captions, links, approvals, and publishing timelines
  • Route creative requests and coordinate with designers and vendors
  • Proofread product names, dates, shipping details, files, and customer-facing materials
  • Maintain marketing calendars, shared folders, product photography, presentations, videos, logos, and event materials
  • Support sales presentations, customer leave-behinds, promotional items, and sales enablement tools
  • Assist with purchase orders, invoices, vendor quotes, budgets, meeting notes, calendars, and project tracking
  • Coordinate with Sales, Product Marketing, Engineering, Operations, Procurement, and Leadership
  • Help maintain accurate, attractive, and brand-aligned showroom and event displays
  • Identify ways to improve templates, inventory tracking, folder organization, and marketing workflows
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Design, or a related field preferred
  • Zero to two years of marketing, event coordination, administrative support, communications, brand, or related experience
  • Internship, campus organization, retail beauty, or event experience is helpful
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, proactive, resourceful, and eager to learn
  • Strong follow-through, accountability, and sense of urgency
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, Salesforce, monday.com, Digideck, project management platforms, or social media scheduling tools is a plus
  • Interest in beauty, packaging, formulation, product development, consumer trends, events, social media, and brand storytelling
  • Comfortable handling samples, packing materials, shipping items, and organizing inventory
  • Ability to lift or move up to 20 pounds occasionally
  • Willingness to support occasional travel and early or late hours around events, trade shows, urgent shipments, or deadlines
