The American Nurses Enterprise (ANE) is seeking to hire a Program Manager, Healthy Nurse, Healthy Nation (HNHN).


The Program Manager, Healthy Nurse, Healthy Nation (HNHN) plays a critical role in advancing the mission of Healthy Nurse, Healthy Nation by leading a team of 2-5 direct reports, and supporting the planning, implementation, and evaluation of national well-being initiatives for nurses. This role focuses on operational management, partnership engagement, digital program execution, and data-informed program improvement. Working closely with the Director and HNHN team, the Program Manager ensures high-quality program delivery, stakeholder engagement, and the expansion of HNHN’s reach and impact.

What You Will Do:

  • Set clear and meaningful performance expectations for direct report(s) and monitor performance against established goals
  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of HNHN programs, campaigns, and related activities.
  • Maintain and update program resources, toolkits, and digital content.
  • Track program progress and assist in preparing summaries, reports, and presentations.
  • Assist in improving program processes, digital experiences, and evaluation approaches.
  • Contribute to content for newsletters, campaigns, and social media.
  • Collaborate with communications teams to promote HNHN and enhance digital engagement.
  • Ensure materials align with ANA priorities and best practices in well-being and engagement.
  • Assist with relationship management and outreach to partners and collaborators.
  • Coordinate activities for the HNHN Advisory Committee, including logistics and follow-up.
  • Support engagement efforts to increase program participation and national visibility.
  • Coordinate with colleagues across Nursing Programs, policy, research, and communications.
  • Support internal workflows, planning, documentation, and project tracking.
  • Assist with preparation for events, initiatives, and team activities.
  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of HNHN programs, campaigns, and related activities.
  • Assist with grant documentation, reporting, and compliance tracking.
  • Support activities related to sponsorships, donor briefings, and impact summaries.

What you bring to the American Nurses Enterprise:


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Program Management, Public Health, Business, Community Health, Nonprofit Management, or related field.

Related Work Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in a direct managerial role, and program or project management, health promotion, wellness, or related fields.
  • Experience working with digital engagement strategies, health campaigns, or community health programming preferred.
  • Familiarity with workforce well-being, public health, or nursing trends is a plus
