Job description

About Green Garden Landscaping

Green Garden Landscaping (GGL) is a high-end residential landscaping company serving the greater Seattle area. We specialize in lawn care, mowing, edging, fertilizing, hedge trimming, tree pruning, mulching, hardscape, fence installation, and irrigation. Our team is tight-knit, bilingual (English and Spanish), and proud of the quality work we bring to every property. We're growing and we're building the internal systems to match.

The Role

We're looking for a creative, self-motivated Video Content Creator to help us build a video training library from the ground up. This is a real opportunity to own a project end-to-end: you'll film and edit training videos that our crews will actually use in the field — standard operating procedures, how-to technique demos, safety walkthroughs, shop overviews, and more.
This is a flexible engagement — we're open to a part-time employee, intern, or project-based contractor, depending on what works for you.
If you're a film/media/marketing student, recent grad, or someone with solid foundational video skills looking to build a meaningful portfolio piece, this is a great fit.
What You'll Do

  • Film and edit short training videos for internal crew use
  • Cover topics such as: shop and equipment overviews, proper pruning and trimming techniques, irrigation setup and troubleshooting, garden assessment walkthroughs, crew safety procedures, and general workflow protocols
  • Produce content in both English and Spanish (bilingual format — voiceover, subtitles, or dual-language versions)
  • Organize and manage a growing video training library
  • Coordinate with Owner and Managers to identify training needs and schedule filming
What We're Looking For

  • Basic-to-intermediate video production skills — filming, editing, and delivering a clean final product
  • Comfortable using your own editing software (Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci, CapCut, or similar)
  • Reliable, organized, and able to work with minimal hand-holding
  • Available for occasional on-site filming in the Seattle area
Nice to Haves

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish — this is a significant plus and highly encouraged to apply
  • Experience adding subtitles or producing dual-language content
  • Basic knowledge of landscaping or trades (not required — we'll walk you through everything)
  • Portfolio or sample videos (even school projects count)
Compensation & Arrangement

  • $21.30/hr starting or project-based rate (negotiable for contractor arrangements)
  • Part-time, intern, or contract — flexible on structure
  • Hybrid: some on-site filming required; editing can be done remotely
  • Hours vary depending on project load — this is not a full-time role
Why This Role
You'll be building something from scratch. GGL doesn't have a training video library yet. We will provide structure and format. You will execute and edit. The videos you make will be used by real crews doing real work, and you'll see the direct impact of your contribution. It's a strong portfolio piece and a chance to work in an industry you may not have considered before.
To Apply

Submit your resume and, if you have one, a link to any sample work (portfolio, YouTube, school project — anything). No formal reel required. We just want to see that you can point a camera, edit footage, and deliver something watchable.
