A Creative Generative AI refers to artificial intelligence systems designed to produce original content, such as images, music, text, or videos, based on patterns learned from large datasets. These AI models, like GPT or DALL-E, use deep learning techniques to generate new and unique creative works that mimic or expand upon human creativity. They are widely used in industries like art, advertising, entertainment, and design to enhance and accelerate creative processes. Creative Generative AI tools can assist professionals by automating routine tasks, providing inspiration, or even collaborating on creative projects.

How do creative generative AI professionals typically collaborate with designers and other creative team members?

Creative Generative AI professionals often work closely with designers, writers, and marketing teams to integrate AI-generated content into creative projects. Collaboration usually involves brainstorming sessions to align on project goals, followed by iterative development where AI models are trained or fine-tuned based on feedback from the creative team. Effective communication is key, as these professionals must translate technical possibilities into creative solutions and ensure that AI-generated outputs match the desired artistic vision. Regular feedback loops and collaborative prototyping are common, making teamwork an essential part of the role.

Creative Director (contract)

Mindgrub

Baltimore, MD โ€ข On-site, Remote

Full-time

Re-posted 4 days ago

Job description

Mindgrub Technologies is an award-winning digital agency specializing in AI-enabled digital transformation through strategy, creative, product development, emerging technology, and customer experience.

We partner with enterprise organizations to design and build digital products, platforms, applications, campaigns, content ecosystems, and modern customer experiences that solve complex business challenges and create measurable impact.

Who You Are

You are a creative leader who understands how design, storytelling, technology, and AI are reshaping digital products, experiences, and modern brands.

You create thoughtful, high-quality work while helping teams move faster, collaborate more effectively, and think strategically. You know when refinement matters, when experimentation matters, and how to balance both.

Clients trust your perspective. Teams rely on your leadership, judgment, and ability to bring clarity to ambiguity. You're collaborative, constructive, and able to work independently while supporting the people around you.

You're comfortable leading product experiences, applications, websites, campaigns, brand systems, creative operations, and multidisciplinary teams. You bring modern design sensibilities, familiarity with UX/UI and accessibility best practices, and a portfolio that demonstrates sophisticated visual design and thoughtful UX thinking.

You're curious about emerging technologies, but grounded enough to separate meaningful innovation from hype. You believe AI should support creativity, exploration, and execution, not replace thoughtful creative work.

You lead with curiosity, accountability, empathy and a team-first mindset.
