Position: Senior PHP Developer

We are seeking an experienced PHP full-stack developer to join our teams producing cutting edge cloud-based web applications out of our development office in New Hope, PA.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with the development team and project managers to ideate software solutions.
  • Creating technical design recommendations for developing and integrating programs.
  • Building the front-end of applications through appealing visual design – show us your creative side!
  • Developing and managing well-functioning databases and applications.
  • Analyzing software and optimizing code to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
  • Conceptualizing features and applications at the direction of the project management team.
  • Debug time-sensitive issues.


Qualifications/Skills Desired:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Full Stack PHP Developer with 3+ years of programming or application development experience
  • Experience with Laravel and/or Symfony Frameworks; knowledge in object-oriented programming
  • Architectural understanding of web applications and application servers
  • Working knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with back-end language and knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery, Angular/React)


Preferred skills that would be good to have:

  • Knowledge of Open Source libraries, tools and frameworks, e.g. for logging, testing, and building.
  • Excitement for the latest trends in application design.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (i.e. IAM, EC2, S3) or similar cloud computing services.
  • Experience with agile software development methodologies like XP and Scrum.
  • Experience with Machine Learning or Natural Language Understanding algorithms.
