About the Role

Now, we're looking for a Senior Creative Lead freelancer who embodies this ethos: a talented, multidisciplinary creative who can ideate, design, and craft our clients' digital narratives. Boasting several years of experience in the realm of digital content creation with a strong social and digital portfolio, you know what it takes to grow brands through exciting, engaging, and beautiful content. 

Responsibilities

  • Performance-Focused Content Creation: Craft content with intent. From ideation to execution, you'll be charged with weaving our clients' visual identity, voice, and ethos into groundbreaking content, pushing engagement and metrics beyond set KPIs.
  • Multifaceted Ideation and Creative Development: You'll brainstorm, concept, plan, produce, edit, and write copy for content within a lean structure to bring ideas to life.
  • Trend Analysis & Application: Vigilantly monitor the digital sphere. Absorb emerging social trends, ensuring our content remains at the front of relevance and innovation. When a trend surfaces, you're already brainstorming how to adapt it to our unique brand narrative.
  • Detail-Oriented Post-Production & Delivery: Ensure each content piece undergoes rigorous post-production process & QA. From video edits, image selection, retouching to quality checks, every detail matters.
  • Operational Mastery: Command multiple projects. Adhere to tight schedules, and ensure an iterative approach, valuing feedback and refining accordingly.

Requirements

  • Solid Track Record: 4-5 years in the trenches, creating and producing paid and organic social content. Your portfolio should echo your proficiency.
  • Technical Prowess: Deep knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects), Figma, and Capcut. Photo+Video Camera operations, audio recording nuances, and lighting techniques should be second nature to you.
  • Studio Proficiency: Over 3+ years planning/running in-studio shoots. This entails everything from setting up the perfect shot to ensuring the lighting captures our clients' energy.
  • Intuitive Insights: A holistic grasp of the social media landscape is crucial. This entails understanding not just the emerging trends but the undercurrents shaping them.
  • Versatility: Equally adept at team-based and solo projects. The ability to pivot between collaboration and independent endeavors is crucial.
  • Rapid Adaptability: A dynamic environment isn't a challenge but an opportunity. This role demands proactive problem-solving and an innate drive.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: The ability to communicate well with clients and internal stakeholders is a must. 
  • Production Budget Management: Ability to bid, forecast, keep a running total, and reconcile wrapped budgets for your shoots is a must. 

Nice to have:

  • Generative AI Experience: Proficiency in Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, ChatGPT a plus 
  • Retouching: Photo retouching a plus
  • Styling & Set/Prop Design: Experience with wardrobe selection & curation, set design, prop selection and styling 
  • Food & Beverage Production: Experience generating content for food & beverage brands, particularly alcohol & spirits, that's awesome. 
  • Fashion/Retail Production: Experience generating content for retail and/or fashion brands, definitely a plus as well.  

We offer a competitive rate based on education, experience, and skills level ($22-$95)

  • Level 2 - $36-$51
    • Level 2 - Possesses developing capabilities.
  • Level 3 - $51-$66
    • Level 3 - Possesses notable capabilities.
  • Level 4 - $66-$81

  • Level 5 - $81-$95
    • Level 5 - Possesses advanced capabilities.

As this is a freelancer role, hours can fluctuate weekly.
