Job Title: Director of Nursing (DON)
Duties:
  • Management level nursing position that maintains direct contact with patients and integration with patient care.
  • Responsible for coordinating, training, scheduling, and team development among the nursing staff.
  • Manages the continuing education of the nursing staff.
  • Maintains an ongoing quality assurance program.
  • Assists in planning the nursing services portion of resident discharge plans.
  • Leads others through actions consistent with and serve our culture.
  • Participates in facility surveys by government agencies.

Qualifications:
  • Current RN license.
  • Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility.
  • 1 year of Director of Nursing (DON)/ Management experience.
  • Service-oriented (positive, enthusiastic, empathetic and respectful demeanor).
  • Able to handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner.
  • Capable of organizing tasks and managing multiple priorities.
