THIS IS AN ONSITE POSITION
The Opportunity
1-Stop Design Shop is looking for a rare hybrid: a strategic marketer who can develop smart ideas, write persuasive content, design polished visual materials, execute campaigns across digital and traditional channels, and use performance data to determine what happens next. This role is perfect for someone who needs to feed both a creative and operational brain, a person who likes to oversee the full lifecycle of creation and execution and whose storytelling skills are top-notch. This is not a position for someone who only schedules social media posts, only designs graphics, or only produces reports. We need someone who understands how strategy, messaging, design, execution, and measurement work together to generate business.
1-Stop Design Shop will be this position's first and most important account. Your initial priority will be helping us strengthen our marketing, reach the right audiences, and generate qualified business opportunities. You will also develop and execute integrated marketing initiatives for clients across a variety of industries. You will be an integral member of a collaborative team that includes a Creative Director, Creative Project Coordinator, Web Designer, and Developer. You will bring the marketing strategy, campaign direction, writing, creative thinking, and performance insights that connect the team's work. This is a hands-on role, but not a one-person operation-great work here is a team effort.
What You'll Own
Team + Client Collaboration
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director to develop campaign concepts, messaging, creative direction, and integrated marketing strategies.
  • Work with the Creative Project Coordinator to establish priorities, schedules, deliverables, approvals, and campaign workflows.
  • Partner with the Web Designer and Developer on landing pages, website content, SEO implementation, user experience, conversion tracking, and performance improvements.
  • Clearly communicate campaign goals, audience insights, content requirements, and performance findings to the internal team and clients.
  • Contribute ideas, expertise, and recommendations while respecting the experience and responsibilities of each team member.
  • Participate as an integral member of the team from initial strategy through creative development, execution, measurement, and optimization.

Marketing Strategy + Business Growth
  • Assess audiences, services, competitors, opportunities, and existing marketing performance.
  • Develop practical quarterly and campaign-specific marketing plans for 1-Stop Design Shop and client accounts.
  • Turn business goals into integrated campaigns across email, social media, paid media, websites, direct mail, print advertising, events, and promotional marketing.
  • Identify campaign goals, audiences, messages, offers, channels, schedules, budgets, and performance measures.
  • Help generate qualified leads and track marketing activity from initial response through inquiry and conversion.
  • Recommend improvements based on results-not assumptions, trends, or vanity metrics.

SEO + Organic Growth
  • Conduct keyword, audience, competitor, and search-intent research to identify content and campaign opportunities.
  • Use Rank Math (or equivalent) to optimize page titles, meta descriptions, focus keywords, schema settings, social-sharing information, redirects, and other on-page SEO elements.
  • Monitor SEO health and organic performance through Rank Math, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics.
  • Develop SEO-informed website content, landing pages, articles, and campaign messaging.
  • Optimize page titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links, image alt text, and other on-page elements.
  • Support local SEO initiatives, including Google Business Profile optimization and consistent business information.
  • Monitor organic visibility, website traffic, search queries, conversions, and technical concerns using Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEO research tools.
  • Identify SEO priorities and collaborate with the web-development team on technical implementation when needed.

Content + Creative Development
  • Develop campaign concepts, messaging, headlines, offers, calls to action, and content themes.
  • Independently write and edit social media content, marketing emails, advertisements, landing-page content, direct mail, brochures, and other marketing materials.
  • AI tools may be used appropriately as part of the workflow, but this position requires the independent ability to think, strategize, write, edit, design, and evaluate the quality of the final work.
  • Design polished digital and print materials using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Work comfortably within established brand standards while also bringing fresh ideas to the table.
  • Prepare accurate, professional, print-ready artwork when required.
  • Adapt concepts appropriately across channels instead of simply resizing the same design.

Campaign Execution
  • Plan, create, schedule, and manage organic social media content on the appropriate platforms for each audience.
  • Develop and deploy email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, content, design, testing, and reporting.
  • Create and manage paid search, paid social, and retargeting campaigns within approved budgets.
  • Collaborate with the Web Designer and Web Developer on SEO-informed website content, landing pages, user experience, Google Tag Manager implementation, conversion tracking, and improvements based on performance data.
  • Apply SEO fundamentals to website and campaign content.
  • Maintain organized content calendars, campaign briefs, assets, approvals, and schedules across multiple accounts.

Measurement + Optimization
  • Establish meaningful performance indicators for each campaign.
  • Monitor leads, conversions, engagement, email performance, website activity, advertising results, and return on investment.
  • Use Google Tag Manager to implement and manage appropriate tracking for website actions, including form submissions, button clicks, downloads, phone calls, email clicks, purchases, and other meaningful conversions.
  • Confirm that GA4 and campaign tracking are collecting accurate, useful data - not simply generating reports filled with impressive-looking numbers.
  • Translate analytics into clear recommendations for improving campaigns, website performance, lead generation, and conversions.
What You Bring
  • 4 or more years of hands-on experience in integrated marketing, preferably in an agency, small-business, or multi-client environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute campaigns from initial strategy through creative production, launch, measurement, and improvement.
  • Hands-on experience with RankMath, GA4, GSC, and GTM, including the ability to establish meaningful conversion tracking and work with the Web Development team to verify that analytics are configured correctly.
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to write clearly and persuasively without relying on others to supply the thinking.
  • A strong portfolio containing both digital and print work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Experience with social media management, email marketing, paid advertising, analytics, and campaign reporting.
  • A sound understanding of branding, typography, visual hierarchy, print production, and how creative choices support marketing goals.
  • The ability to follow established brand standards while developing original, audience-appropriate ideas.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple brands, projects, and deadlines.
  • Confidence communicating with clients, presenting recommendations, receiving feedback, and explaining strategic and creative decisions.
  • Curiosity, resourcefulness, good judgment, and a willingness to take ownership.

Helpful, but Not Required
  • Experience working with local and regional businesses.
  • Familiarity with WordPress and Elementor content updates.
  • Experience with marketing automation, CRM systems, short-form video, or photography.
  • Experience connecting campaign activity to leads, proposals, and revenue.

THIS IS AN ONSITE POSITION
How to Apply
Please submit:
  • Your résumé.
  • A portfolio showing both digital and print work.
  • Two writing samples - one short-form and one longer marketing piece.
  • One campaign example explaining the objective, audience, your role, what you created, how performance was measured, and the results.
  • A brief response describing a campaign you changed after the initial results showed something was not working.
  • A degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field is welcome, but demonstrated ability, judgment, and results matter more.

Compensation: $74,400.00 - $90,000.00 per year
