Director of Marketing

We're looking for a Director of Marketing to lead and elevate our marketing strategy - shaping how our brand is experienced across every touchpoint. In this highly visible leadership role, you'll guide integrated marketing strategies, modernize processes, and partner across the organization to support growth, strengthen our employer brand, and amplify our market presence.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Brand Stewardship

  • Direct the creation and execution of marketing and media relations programs across North America
  • Partner with our media relations agency to enhance brand visibility and maximize strategic coverage
  • Ensure a consistent and compelling brand image across all regions by collaborating with global and regional marketing leaders
  • Review and approve global marketing assets to uphold quality and alignment with brand standards
  • Oversee development of high-quality content across all channels-digital, social, media, and sales collateral
  • Direct social media programs to engage audiences and extend brand reach

Demand Generation & Integrated Marketing

  • Direct the development of integrated marketing plans that promote products, technologies, and services
  • Lead retail and recruiting marketing strategies aligned with broader business goals
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and leadership to support recruiting and retention through targeted marketing strategies

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Operations Excellence

  • Oversee and continuously improve project workflows within the department's project management system
  • Lead planning and execution of key corporate initiatives, including Business Update meetings and executive presentations
  • Manage key marketing budget accounts with a focus on efficiency and ROI
  • Champion ongoing process improvements to enhance team performance and delivery

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or Media Relations, along with at least 8 years of related experience.
    • Non-degree considered if 12+ years of related experience along with a high school diploma or GED
  • Frequent travel (6-20%)
  • Valid Passport

Preferred Qualifications

  • Five years' experience in the Material Handling or a similar capital equipment industry
  • Ten years managing people and five years managing a Marketing Communications department
  • Experience successfully building, coaching, and motivating high-performance teams while holding employees accountable
  • Strong leadership skills and history of demonstrated successes
  • Excellent communicator with ability to influence across all functional areas
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to clearly present recommendations and summarize complex issues
  • Demonstrate both creative and critical thinking skills
  • International experience
