About This Role

Join our Whiz Kids family and become an integral part of shaping young minds. As a Center based facility, we pride ourselves on over 30 years of experience and NAEYC accreditation. Our spacious, open classrooms and large outdoor setting provide the perfect environment for our children to grow and develop. We follow the Philosophy and Theory of the "Creative Curriculum. We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring Infant Teacher to help us create a warm and nurturing environment that fosters growth and development in our infants.


This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of our children and their families.


What You'll Do
  • Create a fun and engaging environment that encourages positive development and creative growth in young children
  • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy learning environment
  • Develop and implement schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Communicate effectively with parents on children's progress and growth
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of children's progress and development

Requirements
  • Passionate about working with children and dedicated to providing high-quality care and education
  • Ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Positive and patient demeanor, with a focus on creating a calm and nurturing environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
  • Must possess an Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field, or have at least 12 ECE credits
  • Previous experience in childcare, early childhood education, or related fields, with a focus on infant care and development

Nice To Haves

While not required, experience with the Creative Curriculum and familiarity with NAEYC accreditation standards would be an asset to our team.
