Job Description

ALSAC's Internship Programoffers an immersive experience where interns dive into our culture, contribute to organizational goals through meaningful projects, and build relationships with team members and senior leadership. Over the course of 10 weeks, interns are paired with a day-to-day manager and given significant assignments, gaining a true understanding of what it means to be part of ALSAC/St. Jude. Recognized as one of the top 100 internship programs in the U.S. in 2022 by WayUp and Yello, our program is designed to be impactful and enriching.

Position Overview
The Product Content Intern will support content operations and digital experience initiatives for stjude.org, gaining hands-on experience managing and optimizing website content within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). Working alongside content strategists, UX designers, product managers, and developers, the intern will help create, update, and maintain digital content that engages key audiences and advances ALSAC's mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with writing, editing, publishing, and updating website content in AEM.
  • Review content for accuracy, accessibility, brand consistency, and quality standards.
  • Support content audits, governance, tagging, and digital asset management efforts.
  • Assist with content testing, quality assurance, and page validation.
  • Analyze content performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX, product, analytics, and development partners.
  • Participate in Agile team meetings and contribute to digital experience improvements.
Qualifications

Required

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, Digital Media, UX, Human-Centered Design, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in content strategy, digital products, UX writing, and user experience.

Preferred

  • Experience creating digital content through coursework, internships, or personal projects.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms (AEM preferred), Figma, analytics tools, or AI-assisted content tools.
  • Basic understanding of SEO, accessibility, and usability best practices.
  • Experience collaborating on cross-functional projects.
