Job description

Location
Must be based in the United States.
About Nen Creative
Nen Creative partners with tech startups to launch bold ideas into the world, creating the brands and stories that fuel their growth.
Since 2022, we've partnered with some of the world's top founders and institutions, including Amazon, Andreessen Horowitz, Cursor, Mercor, Listen Labs, Tech Week, Cartesia, and many more.
We're growing quickly and looking for ambitious people who want to help build the company alongside us.
About the Opportunity
We're looking for an Operations Associate to help run and improve the systems behind a fast-growing creative studio.
You'll work closely with our Finance & Ops Lead and company leadership across recruiting, people operations, finance administration, and internal systems. You'll own important day-to-day workflows while also helping us figure out how to make them better as we scale.
This is a hands-on role for someone early in their career who is highly organized, resourceful, and excited to take ownership. You'll get exposure to many parts of the business and have the opportunity to build processes, automate workflows, and take on increasingly complex problems over time.
What You'll Do
  • Administer internal tools and systems including Google Workspace, Slack, Figma, GitHub, Monday, and other platforms
  • Own client invoicing operations, including preparing invoices, tracking receivables, following up on outstanding payments, and escalating issues when needed
  • Coordinate vendor onboarding, payment requests, insurance documentation, contracts, DocuSign workflows, and other business operations
  • Build and maintain SOPs, trackers, dashboards, and internal documentation
  • Support recruiting operations, including maintaining hiring plans, coordinating with recruiters, scheduling interviews, and tracking candidates
  • Help execute company-wide initiatives and process improvements
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive work and make our internal systems more efficient
  • Jump into new operational problems as they come up and help figure out how to solve them
What We're Looking For
  • 0 to 2 years of work experience; startup, high-growth, or builder experience is a strong plus
  • You thrive in a high-performance environment with an exceptionally high bar for quality and execution
  • You take ownership of outcomes from start to finish and consistently follow through
  • You are exceptionally organized, disciplined, and detail-oriented
  • You communicate clearly and professionally, both written and verbally
  • You are proactive and comfortable figuring things out without having every step defined
  • You move quickly, prioritize well, and bring a strong sense of urgency to getting things done
Bonus Points
  • Experience at a startup, creative agency, studio, or other fast-growing company
  • Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Slack, Monday, Asana, an ATS, or accounting/invoicing platforms
  • Experience building automations or using AI tools to improve workflows
Why Join Us
  • Work directly with company leadership and get exposure to how a fast-growing creative business operates
  • Help build the systems and processes the company will use as it scales
  • Work alongside a team creating brands, products, and stories for some of the most ambitious companies in tech
  • Grow into broader ownership across business operations as the company expands
  • Remote-friendly, flexible, and entrepreneurial environment
  • Healthcare coverage, PTO, and company holidays
  • $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
