You will support and lead a growing team of content creators who thrive on creating innovative, trend-driven work. The focus will be on lo-fi, social-first content, with a particular emphasis on TikTok, but your role will also involve bringing fresh, out-of-the-box ideas to multiple platforms.

You'll act as a bridge between strategy and the creative, ensuring that content aligns with brand goals while staying relevant and engaging within today's fast-evolving internet culture.

Your role will also include monitoring trends and leading culture briefings to ensure the team stays ahead of the curve. You'll also mentor junior team members, helping them to grow their skills, while being a primary contributor to the team's overall content output.

Who You Are:

  • You're passionate about internet culture, memes, trends, and online subcultures.
  • You stay ahead of the curve with the latest in social media, always ready to share new trends, effects, and ideas.
  • You're a creative storyteller with a strong understanding of video production and social media platforms.
  • Hands-on, "get-it-done" mentality, but you also thrive in mentoring and guiding a team.
  • You enjoy translating big ideas into impactful social content and adapting to new trends as they emerge.
  • You're comfortable filming without a set and have the ability to creatively problem solve "to get the shot".
  • You're experienced in balancing creativity with strategic goals and can ensure content is both trend-driven and brand-aligned.
  • You understand and can creatively tap into Gen Z culture.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee a team of content creators, providing guidance, feedback, and mentorship.
  • Collaborate with social strategists and clients to ensure content aligns with brand strategies and social trends.
  • Conceptualize and execute creative content for various social media platforms, with a focus on TikTok and lo-fi content.
  • Participate in and occasionally lead weekly culture briefings to discuss trends and opportunities for brands to engage with their audience.
  • Stay on top of internet trends, social media updates, and platform shifts.
  • Provide hands-on support in shooting, editing, and writing post-copy for content.
  • Help identify opportunities for new content ideas and campaigns that could go viral or stand out in the market.
  • Partner with capability leadership to educate and elevate our team's work to various key departments on an ongoing basis.
  • Comfortable and confident speaking and presenting to leadership teams within the agency and Groupe.
  • Occasionally support new business pitches.
Qualifications
  • 6-9 years of experience in video content creation for social media at a consumer-facing brand or agency.
  • Strong understanding of social platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms.
  • Proficiency in video editing software, including in-app editing tools and Premiere.
  • Nice to have: experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, AfterEffects, and Illustrator.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proven track record of creating content that resonates with audiences and reflects brand identities.
  • Strong leadership skills with a passion for nurturing talent and fostering a positive team culture.
  • A collaborative work ethic with the ability to provide strategic and creative input on all projects.
  • Familiarity with prompt-based interaction and commonly used generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Google Gemini, DALLE, Midjourney) is a plus, especially for tasks like ideation, research, or content generation.
