Position Title: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST or CRCST), Per Diem

Location: Relevium - Fort Apache Surgery Center

Job Type: Per Diem

Schedule: Schedule and hours may vary based on business needs, with advanced notice whenever possible.

About Us: Fort Apache Surgery Center is a surgery center specializing in pain management. We are seeking a team-oriented and dependable individual who can work independently while also collaborating effectively with others. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of surgical techniques and be organized, adaptable, and positive. Ambulatory surgery center experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic and a commitment to teamwork. Longevity, positivity, and teamwork are highly valued at Fort Apache Surgery Center, and we are looking for someone who wants to be a part of a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working as a team to deliver safe patient care.
  • Working in Sterile Processing and Instrument Decontamination
  • Assisting in Operating Room turnover.
  • Assisting with inventory control and restocking of supplies.
  • Assists with the preparation of the operating rooms.
  • Pulling needed supplies for the upcoming cases.
  • Performs sterilization and disinfection required for instruments and equipment as per manufacturer's instructions.
  • Ability to maintain accurate sterilization and decontamination logs.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is required.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a CST or CRCST
  • Prior experience in instrument processing preferred.
  • Prior experience as a surgical technologist preferred.
  • New grads welcome.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pain Management Experience
  • Orthopedic Experience

Education/Certifications:

  • Graduate of an Accredited Surgical Technology Program
  • BLS Certification
