Job Description: The Crawford County R-II School District is seeking to hire a Science Instructor at Cuba High School for the 2026-27 School year.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • To create a flexible instructional program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth.
  • To establish effective rapport with students assigned to the classroom.
  • To motivate pupils to develop attitudes and knowledge needed to ensure that effective learning occurs for each child, every day.
  • Provides positive feedback and encouragement for students.
  • Facilitates an environment that promotes improved oral and written English skills, academic success, social growth, and well-being of all students.
  • Organizes and uses a variety of teaching techniques, strategies, materials, and technology to maximize the learning of each child, individually and in group settings.
  • Assesses student progress, provides students and parents with specific feedback, and uses the results to adjust instruction as needed; serves as a communication link between school and home.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested by supervising administrators.
  • Crawford County operates on a 4-day school week.

QUALIFICATIONS:
