Certification Preferences:
Candidates with one of the following are strongly preferred:
CCT (Certified Cardiographic Technician)
CRAT (Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician)
RN (Registered Nurse)
Paramedic or EMT with current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
Job Duties (Summary):You’ll be monitoring ECGs (heart rhythm data) sent by patients, analyzing them, and generating reports for doctors. You may also need to alert emergency services or communicate with patients and doctors if something abnormal is detected.
Think of it as a mix of:
Data analysis (ECG readings)
Customer support (talking to patients, relaying info to doctors)
Healthcare support (helping monitor cardiac patients remotely)
Key Responsibilities:Analyze ECG (electrocardiogram) data
Notify higher-level staff or physicians if you spot abnormal rhythms
Create and send quality ECG reports to doctors
Activate EMS in emergencies
Take calls from patients
Follow clinical protocols and documentation standards
Requirements:Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: At least 6 months in a related healthcare or monitoring role
Certifications: CRAT, CCT, RN, Paramedic/EMT with ACLS preferred
Skills Needed:
Strong computer skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
Comfortable with online/virtual training
Good customer service skills (WE CARE model)
Ability to learn ECG rhythm interpretation
Detail-oriented with analytical thinking
Training & Hybrid Setup:Training Duration: 3–4 weeks full-time onsite (Norfolk, VA)
Ramp-up period: 12 weeks onsite in full work mode (assigned shifts + holidays/weekends)
Hybrid Schedule begins only after training and ramp-up
Work Shifts:Various 8-hour or 10-hour shifts available, including:
Day: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM / 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Evening: 6:00 PM – 4:30 AM
Night: 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM / 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Weekend shifts are required (either rotating or set weekends)
