Job description

The bartley Corporation is seeking an experienced and dependable Crane Truck Driver / Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for safely driving and operating a crane truck to transport, load, unload, and place concrete forms at various jobsites.
Key Responsibilities
  • Safely drive a panel crane truck to and from jobsites
  • Operate the truck-mounted crane for loading, unloading, and placement of concrete forms
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Properly secure loads and verify equipment before transport
  • Set up the crane safely, including outriggers and appropriate work-zone precautions
  • Communicate effectively with foremen, crews, and signal persons during lifting operations
  • Follow company, DOT, OSHA, and jobsite safety requirements
  • Maintain accurate inspection, delivery, and equipment records
  • Assist crews as needed with material handling and jobsite operations
  • Maintain the truck and crane in clean, safe operating condition
Qualifications
  • Valid CDL appropriate for the vehicle being operated
  • Previous experience operating a truck-mounted crane or panel crane truck
  • Knowledge of safe rigging, lifting, load securement, and crane operations
  • Ability to safely maneuver large commercial vehicles on active construction sites
  • Strong safety awareness and good communication skills
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
