Job description

Job Summary:

This position will serve as a leader for the operations group. Will be responsible for the safe professional operations of the cranes in the fleet. This position will support the maintenance, sales and office personnel with different assigned tasks. Will be responsible for doing all required paperwork in a neat and timely manner. This position will require that all equipment assigned be maintained in excellent condition and all needed repairs be reported properly and timely.

Job Duties:

  • Operate hydraulic cranes
  • Establish good customer relationships
  • Work with local dispatch
  • Train Riggers for future Operator positions
  • Assist local sales staff
  • Assist maintenance as needed in making crane or truck repairs
  • Fill in for truck drivers when needed
  • Attend all required training to meet job requirements
  • Any additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Strong technical and professional skills in the safe operations of all size hydraulic cranes. This position will require the ability to properly size cranes and rigging for the tasks at hand and be able to evaluate lift plans for accuracy and safety. This position requires the operator to hold a CDL license with a good driving record. This position requires updated training for OSHA,MSHA and NCCCO. This position requires NCCCO certifications.ย
