JOB TITLE: Craftsman (Carpentry / General Construction)
This position may require U.S. citizenship due to client and/or government project requirements.
JOB SUMMARY:
Setterlin Building Company is looking for Craftsmen to join our team and help build commercial projects across Central and Southern Ohio.
This is a hands-on role working alongside Superintendents and field teams to complete daily construction tasks including carpentry, concrete work, and general jobsite support. This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work, show up ready to work, and want to grow in the construction industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform general carpentry and construction tasks on commercial job sites
  • Assist with framing, concrete work, and installation of building components
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Assist with demolition, material handling, and site setup
  • Install doors, frames, drywall, ceilings, and trim (with direction)
  • Support concrete formwork and placement
  • Maintain clean and organized job sites
  • Follow direction from Superintendents

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Construction or carpentry experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate)
  • Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
  • Ability to follow direction and work as part of a team
  • Comfortable working with hand and power tools
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the company

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work throughout the day
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions

SAFETY EXPECTATIONS:
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
  • Wear required PPE at all times
  • Participate in jobsite safety meetings
