Responsibilities:
  • Produce written proposals, cost estimates, budgets, and updates for clients and project managers
  • Provide accurate and clear quantity takeoff information to provide a detailed list of materials and assess the total construction costs
  • Evaluate proposals, specifications, blueprints, and construction documents to understand the project as a whole
  • Calculate construction materials, product costs, labor, and time to estimate overall cost for construction projects

Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and construction estimating software
  • Excellent project management, time-management, and communication skills are necessary
  • Analytical skills, critical thinking, and very strong math skills are essential
  • Three years of experience in the construction industry - project estimating or construction management is needed
