Craft Brand Manager information

What is a craft brand manager?

Craft Brand Managers are marketing professionals responsible for developing, promoting, and managing the identity and market presence of craft products, such as artisanal beverages, food, or handmade goods. They work closely with product development, sales, and creative teams to ensure the brand’s message and values are consistently communicated to consumers. Their role often includes overseeing campaigns, analyzing market trends, managing budgets, and building relationships with distributors and retailers. A Craft Brand Manager plays a key part in differentiating a craft brand in a crowded marketplace and driving its growth.

How does a craft brand manager typically collaborate with sales and production teams to ensure brand consistency?

A Craft Brand Manager works closely with both sales and production teams to align marketing strategies with product availability and messaging. They often coordinate regular meetings to share brand guidelines, discuss upcoming promotions, and ensure that all teams understand and represent the brand’s unique story. This collaboration helps maintain consistent branding across packaging, point-of-sale materials, and customer interactions, while also allowing the manager to quickly address feedback from the sales floor or production line. Effective communication and cross-functional teamwork are key to building a cohesive brand experience.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a craft brand manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Craft Brand Manager, you need expertise in brand strategy, market analysis, and product positioning, usually supported by a degree in marketing, business, or a related field. Familiarity with digital marketing platforms, CRM systems, and data analytics tools is commonly required. Strong creativity, communication, and relationship-building skills help differentiate a brand and foster loyalty among customers and partners. These skills ensure that craft brands are effectively promoted, resonate with target audiences, and achieve sustained growth in competitive markets.

Brand Partnership Manager (Creator Marketing)

Trevant

Overland Park, KS • On-site

Full-time

Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement

This job post has expired 1 day ago. Applications are no longer accepted.

Job description

Trevant (formerly AdParlor) is looking for a full-time Brand Partnership Manager to own daily pipeline generation and expansion for our creator and influencer marketing division. This role is built for someone who understands the creator, affiliate, or influencer marketing world from the inside, whether that's from an agency, a brand partnerships team, an affiliate network, or a creator-facing platform, and wants to bring that fluency to new business development.

The Brand Partnership Manager will help drive exponential growth for Trevant's creator marketing division. You will work directly alongside our VP, Brand Partnerships and the cross-functional team to build and test outreach strategies that convert into meetings, revenue, growth and retention, own a daily activity goal to stack qualified pipeline and carry a small sales quota focused on mid-size growth brands. As Trevant's pipeline expands, this role is designed to grow into a full-cycle, quota-carrying partnership account manager.

What You'll Do
  • Own and hit a daily outreach activity goal (calls, emails, LinkedIn, and conference outreach) to build and stack a healthy, qualified pipeline of brand and marketing decision-makers
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with brands running, or evaluating, creator, affiliate, or influencer marketing programs
  • Partner with the VP, Sales and cross-functional team to develop, test, and refine outbound strategies, tailored to how creator-economy and affiliate marketing buyers actually evaluate agency partners, that convert into scheduled meetings and closed revenue
  • Own a small sales quota focused on mid-size growth brands, managing opportunities from first touch through close
  • Contact and respond to inbound leads promptly, maintaining an organized and timely communication flow to qualify prospects and get calls scheduled with the right stakeholder
  • Maintain full CRM hygiene in HubSpot, logging activity, updating deal stages, and keeping pipeline forecasts accurate for key stakeholders
  • Join strategy calls to take CRM notes while preparing to support proposal, RFP, and RFI creation. Eventually own strategy calls of SMB brands.
  • Project manage the proposal, RFP, and RFI creation process
  • Support the ideation and creation of compelling pitch decks
  • Conduct prospect and account research, including a brand's existing creator, affiliate, or influencer program, delivering actionable briefs to the sales team
  • Own email follow-ups, some recaps, and pipeline tracking across stakeholders
  • Bring firsthand knowledge of the creator and affiliate landscape, platforms like TikTok Shop, Amazon Influencer/Affiliate, ShopMy, and major affiliate networks, to help differentiate Trevant from competitors in a crowded creator marketing space
Growth Path

This role is built to develop into a full-time, quota-carrying Account Manager as Trevant's pipeline grows, not to remain a purely support function. Early wins are measured in daily activity and qualified meetings booked; over time, success shifts to sourced pipeline value and closed revenue from your own book of mid-size growth brands.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a sales, business development, or partnerships role within the creator, affiliate, or influencer marketing industry (agency, network, platform, or brand-side), OR one to three years in a traditional SDR/BDR/full-cycle sales role, ideally in an agency or martech environment
  • Working knowledge of the creator/affiliate ecosystem, e.g. how influencer programs, affiliate networks, or shoppable platforms like TikTok Shop and ShopMy operate, is a strong plus and can substitute for traditional SaaS sales experience
  • Comfortable owning and being measured against a daily activity goal and pipeline/revenue targets
  • Client or partner management experience, ideally in the influencer, affiliate, agency, or content industry
  • Strong CRM discipline, HubSpot experience preferred, and comfort with a project management platform (e.g. Asana)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to craft outbound messaging that earns a reply from marketing and brand-partnership stakeholders
  • Proficient in creating engaging, high-impact proposal decks (Google Slides)
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to juggle multiple accounts and shifting priorities
Who We Are

Trevant is a creator marketing agency built for brands that need more than a campaign. They need a system that justifies the investment.

We came up in performance media. We ran hundreds of millions in paid social spend before most agencies knew what attribution meant. When the creator economy took off, we didn't chase it. We applied the same operational rigor — vetting, attribution, brand safety, efficiency — to a channel that needed it.

The result is creator marketing that performs like your best paid channel. Creative ambition that earns attention. Infrastructure that makes that attention compound into outcomes. Every campaign, fully accountable.

Trevant is a subsidiary of Fluent, a commerce media solutions provider connecting top-tier brands with highly engaged consumers.

Benefits

At Trevant, we celebrate successes, value teamwork, and foster a vibrant, inclusive culture. In addition to offering the opportunity to work with a rapidly growing creator performance marketing agency, we provide:

  • Competitive compensation packages
  • Career advancement and professional development opportunities
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Retirement savings plan with employer matching
  • Opportunities to participate in volunteer and philanthropic activities
  • Fun and educational team events, including catered lunches, team outings, and wellness initiatives

Salary Range

$100,000-$120,000 base salary, OTE $120,000-$144,000 tied to performance. Actual base salary will depend on factors such as experience, skill set, and location.

At Trevant, we are committed to building and fostering an environment where our employees feel included, valued, and heard. We are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate based on age, color, ability, national origin, race, religion, sex, or sexual orientation. Not only are these provisions protected by law, embracing differences is what makes Trevant so great. We pride ourselves on our inclusive and accessible workplace. If you need any accommodations during the interview process to make it work for you, let us know.
