Note: The compensation range noted above represents the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. Provides a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Responds to all incidents occurring on hospital campus; conducts patrols on foot and in vehicles; responds to emergencies; provides Public Safety services to patients, visitors, and staff; enforces medical center rules and regulations; identify and report safety hazards and conditions; prepare incident reports and related written communications.
Requires high school diploma and a minimum of one year of security related experience OR completion of a Criminal Justice program at an accredited school; current and valid Mass. drivers license; excellent driving record; Must have, or be able to obtain, CPR/AED certification within 90 days of hire; flexibility to work various shift, weekends, and holidays; Defensive tactics, Reserve Intermittent Police Academy training, and CPR certification desired
