SEFA Instructor

Fairless Hills, PA | Part Time, Hourly | $20-$22 per hour | Varying Evenings/weekends

We are looking for individuals to serve as SEFA Instructors. As a SEFA Instructor, you will develop important skills such as communication, leadership and responsibility that will serve you for a lifetime!

What is needed to be a Safety Instructor:

  • 18+ years of age
  • Current American Red Cross CPR/AED Certification required
  • Provide positive, high-quality customer service and address participant questions or concerns regarding the training content or certification process
  • Must be committed to teaching a minimum of one SEFA training per month
  • Must be willing to complete any additional certification or bridge courses as required by the YMCA or ARC

The responsibilities we will trust you with as a Safety Instructor:

  • Maintain a safe/positive teaching environment
  • Track and submit course rosters, and certifications, and report training outcomes to the designated staff
  • Maintain up-to-date certification and ensure all classes are taught in compliance with current ARC and YMCA guidelines
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and variable hours as needed for training sessions.
  • Previous experience teaching safety and first aid courses preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality training programs.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
