We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Workers - Home Health Aides to provide essential care and support to our developmentally disabled clients in the comfort of their homes. As a Direct Care Worker / Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with various everyday tasks, promoting their well-being, and enhancing their quality of life.

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing, to ensure their comfort and hygiene.

Provide assistance with feeding and ensure that clients' nutritional needs are met in accordance with prescribed diets.

Perform laundry services for clients, ensuring clean and tidy living spaces.

Accompany clients to appointments and outings, providing safe and reliable transportation.

Engage in meaningful companionship with clients, promoting emotional well-being and fostering a supportive environment.

Observe and report any changes in clients' physical, mental, or emotional conditions to the appropriate supervisor or healthcare professional.

Comply with all agency policies and procedures, adhering to state regulations and guidelines.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of care provided and any significant observations.

Qualifications:

Must be able to pass a comprehensive criminal background check.

Minimum age requirement: 18 years or older.

Ability to obtain a level 1 fingerprint card as mandated by state regulations.
