What You'll Do
In this role, you'll be a trusted financial partner to our global product and development teams. Your work will drive clarity, confidence, and accountability across the entire product lifecycle. Your day-to-day will include:
Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Key strategic partner to the global product management and development teams by providing financial expertise to support decision making
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support product management in decision-making.
  • Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to assess the viability and profitability of new products and features.
  • Collaborate with product management to create detailed business cases for new product initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on the financial performance of products, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Lead preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for product management.
  • Track and analyze product-related expenses and revenues against the budget.
  • Identify variances and provide explanations and recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Support product managers in managing their budgets effectively.
Product Lifecycle Management
  • Analyze financial implications of product lifecycle decisions, including launch, maintenance, and retirement of products.
  • Provide financial input on pricing strategies, cost management, and investment priorities.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure financial alignment throughout the product lifecycle.
Strategic Support
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions with product management and senior leadership, evaluating make vs buy scenarios.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic product decisions.
  • Contribute to the development of 3-5 year, long-term financial plans and product roadmaps.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of progressive experience in financial analysis
  • Experience working in a CPG or product services organization a plus
  • Strong proficiency in developing and implementing financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis tools.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Power BI, Excel, and financial planning software
  • Knowledge of financial principles, practices, and reporting standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead without direct authority, motivate and inspire people to enable change and continuous improvement.
