Interns perform a wide range of duties for many different departments. Some of these duties include:
Revenue Integrity – Professional Practices
- Take responsibility for organization of data sources.
- Research, write, edit and distribute department newsletter.
- Coordinate with other departments or other vendors to complete various projects.
- Juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Work with various people around the hospital on different projects.
- Plan and implement special events (community seminars, races/walks, etc.)
- Assist Revenue Integrity department in various functions related to chargemaster, revenue cycle, charge capture as well as perform various coding functions some of which may include initial audit and/or applicable data collection.
