We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior or Manager Tax Accountant to join our team and drive our tax compliance and planning initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your extensive accounting and tax expertise to ensure accurate tax reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and strategic tax planning. Your energetic approach will help optimize financial processes, support complex transactions, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization. Duties

  • Prepare and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
  • Conduct detailed tax research and strategies to inform decision-making.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships across diverse industries.
  • Manage multiple client projects simultaneously and ensure a timely, high-quality work product
  • Perform account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and double entry bookkeeping to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Utilize advanced accounting software such as QuickBooks, Ultratax, Creative Solutions Suite products or similar tools for efficient financial management and reporting.
  • Provide expert guidance on individual and corporate tax return preparation while maintaining clear client communication.
  • Preparation of reviewed and compiled financial statements
  • Manage budgets and production goals


Experience

  • Proven experience in public accounting or corporate tax accounting with a focus on complex tax issues.
  • Extensive knowledge of tax law, regulatory compliance accounting, and technical accounting principles including GAAP standards.
  • Demonstrated expertise in tax reporting, individual tax preparation.
  • Familiarity with accounting software including QuickBooks, Ultratax, Creative Solutions or similar platforms for bookkeeping and financial management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Master’s degree in accounting or taxation or related field
