๏ปฟWe're seeking a Tax Accountant to join our Harvard office. This role is responsible for managing tax compliance, preparing accurate financial reports, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, while supporting the firm's clients through comprehensive tax planning and analysis.


Role Description

The Tax Accountant will handle day-to-day tax preparation and accounting tasks for individual and corporate clients in a full-time, on-site role Responsibilities include preparing federal, state, and local tax returns (such as 1040, 1120, 1120S, and 1065), ensuring compliance with current tax laws and regulations, and identifying potential tax-saving opportunities. The role involves maintaining and reviewing corporate bookkeeping, preparing and analyzing financial statements, and supporting audit, review, and compilation engagements. The Tax Accountant will communicate directly with clients to gather information, explain tax outcomes, respond to notices, and provide ongoing advisory support. The position requires strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple deadlines, and collaboration with other team members to deliver high-quality service.


Qualifications

  • Strong tax expertise, including Tax Preparation, Tax Compliance, and general Tax knowledge, with experience handling individual and corporate returns.
  • Proficiency in Accounting principles and practices, including bookkeeping, general ledger management, and understanding of GAAP.
  • Ability to prepare, review, and interpret Financial Statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
