Valuations Processor

Hansen Talent Group is hiring a Valuations Processor for a financial services organization in Columbia SC.

What You'll Do

• Research and monitor federal and state tax regulations related to retirement plan distributions and withholdings

• Prepare and file Forms 1099-R accurately and in compliance with applicable requirements

• Maintain quarterly withholding reports and related state reporting obligations

• Support state licensing compliance activities, including account setup and ongoing reporting requirements

• Develop and document withholding procedures based on plan type and state regulations

• Work closely with leadership to organize reporting data and review filings for accuracy

• Assist with audits and inquiries from taxing authorities by providing documentation and resolving discrepancies

• Track changes in regulatory requirements and recommend process updates as needed

• Support additional compliance and reporting activities as assigned

What You'll Need

• Active CPA license required

• 2+ years of tax experience within a CPA firm

• Strong understanding of tax compliance and regulatory reporting processes

• Ability to research and interpret complex federal and state regulations

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
