Job description

A full-time Pharmacist opportunity is available in Covington, KY, offering a Contract to Hire arrangement. The ideal candidate will bring recent pharmacy experience and hold a clear, active Kentucky Pharmacist license.

Schedule:

  • Full-Time
  • Monday – Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify prescription orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients.
  • Process and dispense prescription medications with attention to detail.
  • Counsel patients on healthcare and prescription medication usage.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • Manage controlled substances and ensure all required documentation is accurate and up to date.

Qualifications:

  • Valid, active Kentucky Pharmacist license.
  • Recent practical experience as a pharmacist, preferably within a mail order pharmacy setting.
  • Strong understanding of pharmacy laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively counsel patients.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and confidentiality.
