Job description

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Courier Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely, ensuring timely deliveries while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong driving skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and experience with various delivery methods.
Duties
  • Safely operate a Step Van or other delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
  • Load and unload packages, ensuring items are handled with care to prevent damage.
  • Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely deliveries, adapting as necessary to traffic or weather conditions.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking information and customer signatures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients, addressing any concerns or inquiries professionally.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
  • Utilize warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks when necessary for loading and unloading tasks.
Skills
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Previous warehouse experience is a plus, particularly in logistics or distribution environments.
  • Experience in commercial driving, specifically with box trucks or similar vehicles.
