NOW Courier is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Independent Contractor to service a new dedicated pharmacy delivery route within our established Indianapolis, IN operation. This opportunity is ideal for someone with a reliable car looking for a consistent weekday schedule while providing exceptional service to healthcare customers. Your Mission
  • Deliver with Clockwork Precision: Ensure prescriptions and other pharmacy deliveries are picked up and delivered safely and on time while maintaining NOW Courier's reputation for reliability and professionalism.
  • Route Mastery: Utilize GPS or mapping software to efficiently complete scheduled deliveries, return trips, and secondary deliveries as needed.
  • Exceptional Customer Service: Provide courteous, dependable service while interacting with pharmacy staff and customers.
  • Problem Solving Skills: Adapt quickly to changing delivery requests and maintain timely, accurate deliveries throughout your shift.
Route Details & Schedule (Indianapolis Area)
  • Compensation: Dedicated route paying $45 per day for up to 2 hours of delivery time. Time exceeding the initial 2-hour service window is paid in 15-minute increments.
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday
  • Start/End Time: 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM
  • Required Vehicle: Car
  • Weekly Mileage: Approximately 150-200 miles
  • Daily Stops: Various
  • Geographical Area: Most deliveries are completed within a 30-mile radius of a hospital on the south side of Indianapolis. Drivers should be prepared to complete return trips and secondary deliveries as needed. Deliveries outside the standard 30-mile service radius are billed separately at the full On-Demand rate.
  • Sorting: May need to sort pharmacy orders to ensure delivery accuracy.

  • Vehicle: Own a vehicle that can pass a multi-point inspection and is suitable for delivery.
  • Smartphone: Possess a smartphone capable of running our driver app.
  • Licensing & Insurance: Hold a valid driver's license and commercial insurance coverage with a minimum of $300,000 combined single limit liability.
  • Pre-Employment Screening: Successfully complete our pre-employment process before beginning work, which includes:
    • Driving History Review (past 36 months)
    • Criminal Background Check
    • Substance Abuse (Drug) Screening
