NOW Courier is seeking a friendly, customer focused Independent Contractor to service a dedicated distribution route within our established South Bend, IN operation. Your Mission
  • Deliver with Clockwork Precision: Ensure that cargo is picked up and delivered to our valued customers on time, maintaining NOW Courier's reputation for reliability and punctuality.
  • Route Mastery: Utilize GPS or mapping software to plan and follow efficient routes, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal fuel usage.
  • Exceptional Customer Service: Greet customers with professionalism and warmth, handling questions or issues with empathy.
  • Problem Solving Skills: Think quickly and adapt when faced with challenges such as traffic delays or address changes to ensure smooth and efficient deliveries.
Route Details & Schedule (South Bend Area)
  • Compensation: Guaranteed $125 per day (Average weekly commission: $500).
  • Schedule: Tuesday through Friday.
  • Start/End Time: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
  • Required Vehicle: Any qualifying vehicle.
  • Weekly Mileage: Approximately 480 miles.
  • Daily Stops: Approximately 25.
  • Geographical Area: Notre Dame, Niles, Buchanan, Berrien Springs, Benton Harbor, Coloma, Saint Joseph, Sawyer, Stevensville, Three Oaks, with occasional stops in Edwardsburg.
  • Sorting: None required.

Vehicle Requirements:
  • Candidates may use any qualifying vehicle that is suitable for route work.
  • The vehicle must be 2013 model year or newer. This ensures the vehicle meets modern safety and reliability standards.

To maintain our industry leading fleet of professional drivers, you must meet the following:
  • Age: Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Vehicle: Own a vehicle that can pass a multi point inspection and is suitable for delivery.
  • Smartphone: Possess a smartphone capable of running our driver app.
  • Licensing & Insurance: Hold a valid driver's license and commercial insurance coverage with a minimum of $300,000 combined single limit liability.
  • Pre Employment Screening: You must successfully pass a comprehensive pre employment process before beginning work, which includes a Driving History Review (past 36 months), Criminal Background Check, and Substance Abuse (Drug) Screening.
