Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

Pathway of Baldwin County is seeking a caring and energetic Part-time Paraprofessional that desires to make a difference in the lives of adolescents! The paraprofessional would be assisting our teachers in daily classroom activities and would also fill in as a substitute when a teacher is out.


Summary of Job Responsibilities:

  • Printing/passing out guided notes
  • Working one on one with students
  • Monitoring student behavior
  • Creates a flexible program and a classroom environment favorable to learning and personal growth for children with and without special needs.
  • Establishes effective rapport with students: motivates students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation in accordance with each student’s ability.
  • Establishes collaborative relationships with teachers and other staff members.


Requirements:

  • Associates Degree
  • At least 1 year Classroom Experience

  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8-2
