  • Perform safe and effective patient handling and restraint.
  • Support preventive care, vaccinations, and client education.
  • Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and sample collection.
  • Assist with diagnostic testing, including radiographs and in-house laboratory work.
  • Perform dental prophylaxis and obtain dental radiographs.
  • Assist with anesthesia monitoring, surgical procedures, and postoperative recovery.
  • Support emergency and surgical care as needed.
  • Educate clients about medications, treatment plans, preventive care, and at-home care.
  • Maintain accurate, concise patient records and documentation of client interactions.
