Residential Plumbing — JD Precision Plumbing & Air

Conroe, TX 77384 | Full-Time

Overview

JD Precision Plumbing & Air is hiring an experienced Residential Plumbing Installer to join our Conroe team. We've served The Woodlands, Conroe, Spring, and the surrounding Montgomery and Harris County communities since 2010, and we've evolved into a comprehensive home comfort company offering a range of services, including plumbing, heating, cooling, and standby generators.

You'll be in customers' homes every day handling installations and replacements from start to finish — water heaters and tankless systems, re-pipes, water softeners and filtration, gas lines, sewer and water line replacements, and full fixture changeouts. You'll roll out with a fully stocked truck and a team that backs up its workmanship. If you take pride in clean, code-compliant installs and want a company that does right by both the customer and the crew, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Perform residential plumbing installations: tank and tankless water heaters, water softeners and filtration systems, re-pipes, fixtures, gas lines, and drain/waste/vent systems
  • Complete residential sewer line and water-line replacements, including trenching and tie-ins
  • Execute installations to manufacturer specifications and Texas plumbing code
  • Read and interpret job scopes, blueprints, and installation plans
  • Pull and coordinate permits and inspections as required
  • Protect the customer's home — drop cloths, shoe covers, and full cleanup on every job
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners and clearly explain completed work
  • Accurately document job details, materials used, and completion notes in field software
  • Maintain company vehicle, tools, and truck stock in clean, working order
  • Follow all safety protocols and company installation standards
Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Texas Tradesman Plumber-Limited license required; Journeyman Plumber preferred.
  • Registered TSBPE Plumber's Apprentices will be considered for a helper-level position working under a licensed installer
  • 2+ years ofresidential plumbing installation experience required — this role is not a fit for commercial-only or new-construction backgrounds
  • Working knowledge of Texas plumbing code and Montgomery/Harris County residential permit requirements
  • Proven experience working in occupied homes with direct homeowner interaction
  • Ability to read blueprints and installation schematics
  • Comfortable lifting 50+ lbs and working in attics, crawlspaces, and trenches in varying weather
  • Strong customer-facing communication and professional appearance
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
  • Must be 18 years of age or older to apply

Why Join Us

  • Competitive pay based on experience
  • Company vehicle, gas card, and tools/equipment provided
  • Fully stocked trucks so you're not chasing parts all day
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Ongoing paid training and licensing support
  • Year-round residential work across plumbing, HVAC, and generator divisions with a company growing since 2010
  • A team built on honest pricing, clean jobsites, and craftsmanship over shortcuts
