Primary Responsibilities:
As a Banquet Cook, you'll help bring our events to life through consistent, high-quality food preparation and presentation. You will:
- Assist with preparation, cooking, and plating for banquets, buffets, and special events
- Understand and execute food quantities for events of varying sizes
- Follow recipes precisely to ensure consistency across the culinary program
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace-especially in banquet storage and walk-ins
- Uphold all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Prepare staff meals as needed
- Help clean and maintain kitchen equipment and appliances
- Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing deliveries
- Support the a la carte team when needed
- Work efficiently while maintaining high standards for quality and presentation
Creativity in plating, buffet setups, and presentation is encouraged-we love fresh ideas.
The Right Candidate:
You'll be a strong fit if you bring:
- Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Solid knowledge of standard cooking methods
- High attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail
- A team-first mindset and positive attitude
- A strong work ethic and commitment to consistency
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach as needed
- Reliable attendance, arriving on time and in proper uniform
