Countertop Installation Manager (Installing Manager)

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour DOE
Schedule: Monday-Thursday | 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Location: Bend, Oregon

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Countertop Installation Manager (Installing Manager) to lead our countertop installation team and oversee all aspects of installation operations. This hands-on leadership position is ideal for someone with experience in granite, quartz, stone fabrication, countertop installation, construction, cabinetry, or related trades who takes pride in delivering exceptional craftsmanship, outstanding customer service, and strong team leadership.

The Installation Manager will coordinate installation projects, supervise installation crews, maintain quality standards, manage inventory and equipment, and serve as a primary liaison between customers, distributors, and internal departments. This role offers an opportunity to lead residential and commercial countertop installation projects from start to finish while ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.


Primary ResponsibilitiesInstallation & Project Management
  • Oversee and participate in the installation of granite, quartz, and other solid surface countertop materials in residential and commercial settings.
  • Review shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and project details prior to installation appointments.
  • Coordinate daily installation schedules and ensure projects are completed on time and to company standards.
  • Troubleshoot installation challenges and implement effective field solutions.
  • Ensure all installations meet quality, safety, and customer satisfaction expectations.
Leadership & Team Development
  • Supervise, train, and mentor Installation Assistants and crew members.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and ensure team productivity.
  • Foster a positive, safety-focused work environment.
  • Conduct ongoing training to improve installation techniques and team performance.
Operations & Administration
  • Track installation progress, labor hours, and employee-related data.
  • Order and maintain inventory of installation supplies, tools, and equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain company vehicles and installation equipment.
  • Assist with warranty claims and resolve installation-related service issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communication regarding project status.
Customer & Vendor Relations
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients, distributors, and internal departments.
  • Communicate professionally with customers regarding installation schedules, expectations, and project updates.
  • Address customer concerns and warranty issues promptly and professionally.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Facility Support
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe fabrication shop and office environment.
  • Support overall operations and perform other duties as assigned.

QualificationsRequired
  • Granite shop or stone fabrication experience.
  • Experience in countertop installation, construction, cabinetry, or a related trade.
  • Leadership experience or demonstrated ability to manage installation crews and job sites.
  • Strong understanding of measuring, fabrication drawings, and installation processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials safely.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
