Independent Cabinet Installer & Finish Carpentry Subcontractor – GTA

Location: Greater Toronto Area (GTA)
Position Type: Independent Contractor / Project‑Based


Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Cabinet Installer & Finish Carpentry Subcontractor to support ongoing multi‑residential renovation projects across the Greater Toronto Area.

This role is ideal for professionals experienced in cabinet installation, millwork, and finish carpentry, delivering high‑quality results in fast‑paced renovation environments. All work is performed using a pre‑approved pricing model with consistent bi‑weekly paymentsno quoting required.


Scope of Work

The subcontractor will be responsible for cabinet installation and finish carpentry scopes, including but not limited to:

  • Installation of kitchen cabinets and vanities
  • Cabinet leveling, fastening, and alignment
  • Installation of fillers, panels, trim, and crown moulding
  • Hardware installation (handles, soft‑close mechanisms, adjustments)
  • Light modifications and scribing for proper fit
  • Installation of shelving and closet systems
  • Basic finish carpentry (baseboards, casing, trim touch‑ups as needed)
  • Reading layouts, drawings, and install plans
  • Coordinating with site supervisors, countertop installers, and other trades
  • Ensuring a clean, professional finish suitable for final turnover

Pricing & Payment Structure (Important)
  • All work is completed using a pre‑approved, fixed price list
