Job description

Advantage SCI is seeking a Mid-level Military Forces Analyst to support the United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) requirements in Tampa, Florida and at a variety of other locations throughout CONUS/OCONUS. In this exciting role, you will conduct responsive, efficient, and reliable analysis and production with a focus on analytical requirements focused on counterterrorism, counter insurgency, regional and transregional issues, energy, socio-cultural, and/or assisting with collection methodology. Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI (with CI Poly)

Reports To: Project Manager

Work Location: Tampa, Florida

Anticipated Start: on contract award

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Conducts all-source analytic production on foreign military forces on, but not limited to, foreign military organizations, command structure, strategy and doctrine, capabilities, equipment, operations and exercise, facilities, sustainment, leadership, and force disposition / order of battle.
  • Conducts all-source analytic production on foreign military, insurgents, terrorists, and militant organizations.
  • Conducts and analyzes database Order of Battle/Force Disposition. Perform basic target development for all military, insurgent, and terrorist functional production areas.
  • Provides support to targeting by reviewing, evaluating, coordinating, and editing database records.
  • Develops training materials and conduct OJT for personnel.
  • Submits collection requests and source directed requirements.
  • Updates database records IAW DoD and USCENTCOM policies/procedures.
  • Responds to RFIs, prepare and present briefings, as required.
  • Performs analysis to accomplish battle damage assessment (BDA), produce BDA products, and assist with combat assessments.
  • Adheres to strict security protocols to safeguard classified information and ensure information security.

This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately.

This position may require flexible support hours outside the standard duty hours of 0730-1630 including: weekend support, TDYs, deployments for targeting operations and support to 24/7 targeting operations.


Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience conducting Military Forces Analysis, with a portion of experience within the last 2 years.
  • Experience with ODNI's analytic tradecraft guidance and experience writing to Intelligence Community Directives (ICD's), specifically ICDs 203, 205, 206, and 208.
  • All-Source Intelligence Analysis experience focused on the USCENTCOM AOR.

Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI and CI Polygraph (Poly must be within scope - NO EXCEPTIONS)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior military and civilian government officials, managers, and co-workers.
  • Knowledge of USCENTCOM product lines.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate as part of an analytical team, collaborate, and conduct coordination with national-level IC partners.
