We are seeking a Parts Counter Sales Representative to join our team. You will be selling 18-wheeler parts. You will be responsible for assisting customers, mechanics, and service personnel with identifying and obtaining truck equipment parts. Responsibilities:

  • Assist retail customers and technicians at the parts counter and by phone.
  • Identify parts using catalogs, electronic parts systems, VINs, diagrams, and manufacturer information.
  • Sell and invoice parts accurately.
  • Look up availability, pricing, and delivery times.
  • Locate and pull parts for service and repair orders.
  • Communicate with technicians and service advisors regarding parts needs and availability.
  • Provide professional and courteous service to customers and coworkers.

Qualifications:

  • Previous automotive, heavy-duty, equipment, or parts-counter experience is a plus!
  • Knowledge of automotive/mechanical parts and systems.
  • Ability to use computerized parts catalogs and inventory systems.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Basic computer and math skills.
