Job description

We are seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work collaboratively with experienced Occupational Therapists and interdisciplinary teams to provide exceptional care to patients across various clinical settings.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist Occupational Therapists in conducting patient evaluations and assessments to determine functional status and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, including therapeutic exercises, activities of daily living (ADL) training, and use of adaptive equipment.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, outcomes, and responses to treatment interventions.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies to promote independence and enhance functional abilities.
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
