Job Overview:

Requirement/Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, HR, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in time and labor administration, payroll operations, or related functions.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Maestro and/or Deltek Costpoint strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of federal and state labor laws and wage-and-hour regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Effective communication and partnership skills across Finance, Payroll, Compliance, and Operations.
• Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with large or complex datasets.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day time and attendance operations using Oracle Maestro and Deltek Costpoint for a multistate employee population.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage-and-hour laws, including overtime rules, meal/rest break requirements, and other labor regulations.
• Monitor timecard submissions, approvals, exceptions, and edits to ensure timely processing and integrity of data transferred to payroll.
• Conduct routine audits of timecards, schedules, work classifications, pay codes, and exception logs to identify and correct discrepancies.
• Partner with Payroll to ensure accurate data flow for overtime calculations, premium pay, shift differentials, and other wage elements.
• Collaborate with Government Compliance and Finance to ensure proper posting of labor hours and related transactions to the general ledger.
• Configure and maintain timekeeping system rules in Oracle Maestro and Deltek Costpoint, including schedules, pay rules, charge codes, and labor categories.
• Support investigations into potential timekeeping violations or misapplied time and labor policies.
• Produce and analyze time and labor reports to support audits, compliance reviews, and operational leadership.
• Provide training, coaching, and guidance to managers and employees on timekeeping requirements and system navigation.
• Assist with system enhancements, testing, validation, and implementation of new functionalities or regulatory updates.
• Support the travel and expense team and corporate card submissions.
