Job description

Kelly Mobile Services – Family-Owned Since 1985

Kelly Mobile Services is a family-owned company that has proudly supported the medical imaging industry since 1985. We are looking for a skilled and motivated CDL Class A Driver to join our team. This role is unique—different from traditional trucking—and can be both challenging and highly rewarding. Every job we do helps patients get access to life-saving medical care.

Position Overview

This is a position requiring CDL driving skills.

  • Driving: Transport and deliver 50-foot mobile medical imaging trailers (45K–60K lbs, many with 10ft spread axles) to hospitals and clinics across the U.S. Drivers prepare trailers for travel, safely transport them, and set them up on-site (similar to RV/camping trailer setup).

Travel Requirements

  • Work includes nationwide travel.
  • Drivers should expect trips lasting 3 weeks

Pay

  • Salary based on experience, skill level, and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

  • Safely drive, load, and secure medical trailers and equipment
  • Set up and break down trailers at hospitals/clinics
  • Operate and maintain rigging gear, cranes, pulleys, and lifting systems
  • Safely maneuver heavy loads through tight/complex spaces
  • Perform pre/post-trip inspections and complete driver logs
  • Follow OSHA and DOT safety standards at all times
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers
  • Assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting as needed

Requirements

  • CDL Class A (Manual Transmission, no restrictions)
  • Minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience
  • Experience transporting heavy loads and backing into tight spaces (understands “GOAL”)
  • Knowledge of transportation safety standards and OSHA compliance
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in tight spaces, and handle physically demanding conditions
  • Strong math skills for load calculations
  • Excellent vision, hearing, and communication skills
  • Fluent in English (bilingual a plus)
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and a true team player
