Job Summary:
PlanIT Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Engineering Cost Modeler who can effectively work with various departments and external customers. The role involves developing complex cost models, conducting affordability analyses, and synthesizing data to support engineering design decisions.
Responsibilities:
• analyze multiple data sets to build engineering models
• synthesize results
• perform decision analysis
• communicate findings with engineering colleagues and internal decision makers
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's in Data Science, Math, Operations Research, Engineering, or related field.
• 5 + Years of Experience with one or more of the following: cost model development, data analytics, engineering related to the Defense industry, and/or finance.
• 5 + Years of Experience with Microsoft Excel & data analytics
• 5 + Years of Experience navigating technical and cost data.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with an executive audience experienced in Data Visualization.
