Torch Technologies is seeking a Cost Analyst to join a team and provide input and recommendations for cost estimating and budget activities for Aviation programs throughout the entire life cycle and acquisition phases. This position supports the CPE Aviation's Aviation Mission Systems and Architecture Program Management Office.

As a Cost Analyst your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:

  • This position requires a highly motivated individual with extensive knowledge of lifecycle cost estimating and to develop cost products and models that identify and evaluate program cost factors, deficiencies and risks for the PMO.
  • Demonstrate the ability to collect and analyze many different cost data sets and develop financial reports and insights as results.
  • Responsible for drafting Independent Government Estimate, Independent Cost Analyses, Cost Analysis Requirements, and Cost Estimates.
  • Refine and adjust cost models in response to changes in technical specifications, support requirements, design alternatives, engineering, and operational trade-off proposals.
  • Develop cost estimates with a level of detail that identifies the total cost of the program and other cost relationships.
  • Perform risk analysis and develop program risk assessment consistent with price, Contractor capabilities, emerging technologies, Contractor cost performance, schedules and integration requirements, and incorporate Contractor cost performance information into cost estimating methodologies consistent with latest reports.
  • Work within a team and as financial SME to communicate important cost information with internal and external stakeholders at multiple CPE Aviation levels.

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience
  • 8 years of relevant experience; must have 5 years of cost estimation experience within a DoW environment
  • Active secret clearance is required to start
  • Familiarity with the Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tool (ACEIT) to support the PM's business and financial/cost accounting efforts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related field
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience; must have 5 years of cost estimation experience within a DoW environment
  • Experience developing key financial deliverables for DoW, US Army, and/or CPE Aviation specifically
  • Foreign Military Sales (FMS) experience
