Role: Data Analytics Engineering Lead Snowflake Cortex (CoCo)

Work Location: Houston, TX (5 Days Onsite)

Overview: We are seeking a hands-on Data Analytics Engineer to lead the delivery of enterprise analytics solutions built on Snowflake, with a deep focus on Semantic Modeling and Snowflake Cortex (CoCo). This individual will own the product vision, coordinate with stakeholders, and directly manage a small offshore delivery team.

Core Requirements

  • Snowflake Semantic Modeling Must have hands-on experience designing and governing semantic layers within Snowflake, including data model definitions, metric layers, and governed views
  • Snowflake Cortex (CoCo) Strong working knowledge of Cortex AI/ML functions, Cortex Analyst, and conversational query capabilities; experience building or productizing AI-powered analytics features
  • Offshore Team Leadership Comfortable managing and coordinating a small, distributed team (3 4 engineers/analysts), including sprint planning, daily standups, and performance accountability
  • Stakeholder Communication Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate technical concepts for business and executive audiences

Nice to Have

  • Experience with energy sector clients (oil & gas, midstream, or utilities)
  • Familiarity with dbt, Cortex Search, or Snowflake dynamic tables
