Job description

We are looking for a knowledgeable and high-energy Personal Trainer to hire for Phoenix Investors. As a Phoenix trainer, you will be working as part of a motivated and driven team of professionals in our corporate wellness program. Your skills will be utilized to train staff members in our gym, plan and execute training programs, and develop policies and procedures to keep staff members healthy and safe. Whether you are working directly with a staff member or completing various administrative duties, you have the chance to develop your professional skills, including interpersonal communication, compassion, and decision-making abilities.


Personal Trainer Job Responsibilities

  • Train staff members one-on-one or in small groups in our corporate gym
  • Instruct staff members on how to use exercise equipment, incorporate exercises, and utilize additional therapies to maximize performance without causing unnecessary strain or injury
  • Maintain wellness facilities and/or collaborate with other professionals to correct problems before use by staff members
  • Develop and implement diets, personalized training programs, and illness prevention policies to enable staff members to perform at their best
  • Conduct basic administrative duties, including scheduling of training, equipment maintenance, and general wellness facility upkeep
  • Adhere to safety standards and procedures
  • Maintain professional composure and abide by non-disclosure guidelines when needed


Personal Trainer Job Skills & Qualifications

  • Active personal trainer certification
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in exercise science or a related field
  • Competent decision-making skills and interpersonal communication
  • First Aid/CPR certification required
  • At least two years of experience working with athletes and/or fitness clients
  • Positive, engaging personality and professional appearance
