Social Media Manager & Content Creator

Mark Spain Real Estate - Corp

Alpharetta, GA

Full-time

Posted 28 days ago

Job description

Social Media Manager & Content Creator

About Mark Spain Real Estate:

Mark Spain Real Estate (MSRE) is a top rated residential real estate brokerage in the US, helping families buy and sell their homes. MSRE is the #1 real estate team in the industry for client satisfaction, with over 12,000 5-star reviews. The brokerage serves thousands of families each year and closes billions of dollars of real estate transactions annually by offering homeowners several home selling programs, including getting the best possible Guaranteed Offer for qualified clients. MSRE is poised to more than double the volume of homes sold annually by leveraging technology to better serve clients and pursuing geographical expansion to serve even more families.

Position Overview

Mark Spain Real Estate is hiring a Social Media Manager and Content Creator to own the brand's social presence across all organic channels. This is a net-new, full-time role within the Marketing department.

This is not an entry level role. It is designed for someone with enough experience to have a strategic point of view on what content should exist and why, and enough hands-on skill to actually make it. We are not looking for someone who simply executes a brief. We are looking for someone who brings ideas, understands the audience, and can connect content output to business goals.

This person will be the driving force behind a continuous, high-quality stream of on-brand content across channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube. They will own the content calendar, manage publishing via Sprout Social, support the sales team, and collaborate with the paid media team on UGC creative. On-site shoots with MSRE leadership and agents will be a regular part of the role.

Atlanta, GA is strongly preferred. The role requires in-office presence several days per week at MSRE headquarters in Alpharetta, and regular travel to agent offices throughout the metro for on-location shoots. Candidates in Florida (Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville) or North Carolina (Charlotte, Raleigh) will also be considered, with the expectation of periodic travel to Atlanta for shoots and team alignment.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation and Production

  • Plan, shoot, and edit video and static content for platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Produce content such as agent testimonials, day-in-the-life videos, customer testimonials, and how-it-works explainers.
  • Execute on-location shoots at MSRE offices and agent workplaces
  • Support content shoots with company leadership for brand and executive social
  • Create award announcements, milestone content, and timely real estate market posts on a recurring cadence.

Channel management and Scheduling

  • Own content scheduling and publishing across all organic social platforms via Sprout Social or similar platforms
  • Maintain a consistent posting cadence aligned with the content calendar and broader campaign priorities.
  • Monitor performance signals by channel and adjust content mix based on results.

Agent and Sales Team Support

  • Fulfill custom content requests from the sales team and individual agents as required
  • Build templated content systems that allow agents to personalize and post brand-approved content independently.
  • Serve as a resource for agents looking to elevate their individual social presence within brand guidelines

Paid Media and UGC Collaboration

  • Partner with the paid media team to develop UGC-style assets for paid social campaigns.
  • Contribute to content strategy discussions, bringing an organic performance lens to paid creative decisions.
  • Maintain an organized, accessible library of evergreen content assets for the broader team.

Brand and Strategy

  • Stay current on platform trends, algorithm changes, and best-in-class real estate content.
  • Bring proactive creative ideas, not just execution. This role is expected to shape what content MSRE makes, not only produce it.
  • Help modernize MSRE's social presence with fresh formats and a consistent, compelling brand voice.

Qualifications

Required

  • 3-5 years of experience in social media content creation, with a portfolio demonstrating video and static content across multiple platforms.
  • Proven ability to shoot, edit, and publish short-form video (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) independently.
  • Experience managing social publishing tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of each platform's content formats, audience dynamics, and algorithm behavior.
  • Self-directed and organized, with the ability to manage a high-volume content calendar with minimal oversight.
  • Ability to operate strategically, not just executionally: you can articulate why content should exist, not just make it.
  • Located in or able to work from Atlanta, GA; Tampa, Orlando, or Jacksonville, FL; or Charlotte or Raleigh, NC. Travel to Alpharetta, GA headquarters required.

Preferred

  • Real estate, mortgage, title, or related industry experience.
  • Familiarity with paid social creative and UGC production workflows.
  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Express, or similar).
  • Experience producing content for or working directly with executives and public-facing personalities.
  • Photography skills are a plus.

Expectations

  • Hybrid role with a strong preference for in-office presence several days per week in Alpharetta, GA, and regular on-location shoots at agent offices throughout the metro area.
  • Candidates outside Atlanta must be willing and able to travel to Atlanta periodically for shoots and team alignment.
  • High degree of creative initiative required. You are expected to bring content ideas, not wait for them.
  • Comfortable on set and behind the camera. Occasional on-camera presence may be required.
  • Service mindset toward the sales team and agent network, who are internal customers of this role.
