Job Description:

The Corporate Trainer plays a pivotal role in delivering thorough training programs to Da Vien locations. This role reports to the Training Manager. This role ensures that team members excel in delivering superior customer service and adhere to the highest standards of product quality and cleanliness in both front-of-house and back-of-house operations. The Corporate Trainer will monitor training progress, uphold brand standards, and maintain company culture across all locations. 

Responsibilities, Abilities & Skills:

  • Assess team member performance and identify training needs across all Da Vien locations by collaborating with managers and Support Center.
  • Play a key role in the New Store Opening Team by supporting new locations with store setup, training for new hires and providing ongoing support.
  • Conducts on-the-job training to help new and existing employees, ranging from baristas to managers, and become familiar with our store’s daily operational procedures
  • Assist with maintaining and conducting certifications for Store Trainers
  • Perform internal store audits to ensure stores are adhering to Da Vien and local food safety standards
  • Adheres to and monitors employee compliance of the Da Vien employee handbook, policies, and practices.
  • Takes appropriate action to address employee issues and policy violations and immediately reports all employee issues, complaints, and policy violations to his/her immediate supervisor
  • Takes initiative to create, lead, and encourage efficiency through new procedures and increasing the productivity of team members.
  • Supports identification and development of future leaders among new team members and management.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on training-related matters, covering operational procedures, guest service, and performance enhancement
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and development

What we expect from you:

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively 
  • Experience in project coordination with a focus on meeting deadlines. 
  • You are quality-minded with keen attention to detail
  • Expertise in calendar management, particularly with Outlook Calendar.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be dependable and willing to work overtime when needed
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Computer Skills, SharePoint, Microsoft Office 365

Job Type:

  • Full-time 36 hrs. - 40 hrs. per week Available
  • In Person

Schedule Requirement:

  • 6 hours to 8 hours per shift 
  • Hours vary
  • Able to work Holidays
  • May require occasional overtime hours with approval

Education & Experience:

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and skilled at managing time efficiently
  • Flexibility in working hours is essential to support restaurant operations and meet team needs while adhering to deadlines
  • Willingness to travel to all store locations
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively, while remaining adaptable to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A valid Driver’s License is required
